History:
Pterosoft Studio was founded in 2017 by Jan Bostl, driven by his passion for experimenting with game development. What began as a solo venture quickly evolved into something greater. By 2019, the team was established, and the early stages of developing Akolyta were underway. In 2024, Akolyta entered early access, launching on Steam and later arriving on the Epic Games Store. In 2025, the team expanded further, embarking on the creation of an innovative rendering solution for CRYENGINE.

Our team operates entirely remotely, with members from across the globe, creating a truly enriching and diverse work environment. While we are deeply passionate about game development, we place great value on maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We don’t believe in crunch time, and we approach our work with humility and open-mindedness. Every opinion is valued and thoughtfully discussed, with no room for egos.
